Greetings and Welcome!

My name is Stephanie Burgee and I create paintings, illustrations, books, and commercial art that is fanciful and colorful. I explore a wide array of themes, but primarily concentrate in: animals, nature, fantasy, and world cultures. 

I graduated from Rhode Island School of Design where I completed my undergraduate degree in fine art, specializing in apparel design. However, throughout the years I kept returning to two-dimensional mediums, and today I am now a painter. I specialize in acrylic, watercolor, gouache, and pencil.

In addition to being a creator, I am also energized and motivated by travel. The feeling of excitement before boarding a plane to go somewhere new, to get a profound reward in the form of a brand new cultural experience, is so wonderful! It makes me feel alive, brave, and feeds my creativity.
